The Seattle Seahawks staged a stunning comeback to overcome the Los Angeles Rams in overtime, clinching their spot in the NFL play-offs.
Overcoming a sixteen-point deficit in the final period, the Seattle squad triumphed 38-37 at home, registering their fifth straight victory.
While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a playoff spot earlier on game day, the Seattle team booked their return to the play-offs after a two-year hiatus.
With this result, the Seahawks now lead their division's race with a 12-3 mark, replacing the Rams, who dropped to the fifth seed with an eleven and four standing.

Quarterback Sam Darnold threw two picks but regrouped to deliver two touchdown passes, including the tying score to star receiver Smith-Njigba in overtime.

Darnold then connected with AJ Barner in the endzone, and a converted conversion forced the contest into overtime.
Although Puka Nacua scored for his another touchdown in OT, Smith-Njigba responded in kind to setup the game-winning score.
